A better world is waiting when we shift our story of nature
Hello, I’m Priscilla Stuckey—a writer and mentor with a passion for reconnecting us to the living, animate world.
I write Books and Essays that explore a livelier story of nature—one where trees and land and sea may speak and humans may listen. Where every part of nature is a "who" not an "it." I write to help us rejoin the Earth community, to love our more-than-human kin.
I explore reverence in nature—how the Western world retreated over time from an awareness of Spirit and how we might recover the sacredness of nature.
I show how listening to the others of nature can help us align our ways of life—in ways both small and large—with the ways of trees and waters and clouds and turtles and stars. Shifting our story of nature is all about opening to love.
I also Mentor people in nature spirituality, helping them deepen their awareness of Spirit flowing in Earth, especially in their own bodies and lives. In phone consultations we open our hearts together and train our inner ears to hear the still small voice of Spirit.
Late in life I fell in love with the sea, and it is teaching me about the less-visible depths of life—how our abandoning of nature is all about abandoning Spirit. And how Spirit is all about love.
I hold a PhD in religious studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and I have been trained by trees, birds, plants, soil, and ocean through decades of communion and close listening.
Listening to. Giving full attention to. Dwelling in the presence of the other. What if we truly listened to the world?

We begin healing ourselves and the Earth when we see every being and part of nature as a ‘who’ not an ‘it.’ Living on Earth is all about relationships. It’s relationships all the way down. Healing begins in reconciling with the others of Earth.
Mentoring
I provide mentoring and guide spirit journeys that help you listen deeply and align with your natural wisdom. Learn to feel supported by life and the Earth.
Explore your own connection with the Source
You can choose a four‑session mentored journey to build an ongoing practice, or a single healing journey for focused support with a specific challenge. Both offer insight, healing, and a steadier sense of support as you move through life.
Meet me by phone consultation to clarify perception and strengthen your holy connection with Earth.
I began to have a sense that every moment in life is watched over—not planned, exactly, not planned at all, in fact, but somehow encouraged forward with great attention and care. As if each person, each creature, were a thread in an unfathomable tapestry, each one carrying its own thread across the fabric, adding to the design. But instead of becoming chaotic, the design emerged coherent, beautiful—though you had to take quite a few steps back to appreciate it.
